Dreamt up in 2017 from our Founder Jess’ Mother’s garden shed in West Sussex, Piglet in Bed began with a simple idea: the best homes aren’t perfect, they’re personal. What started as a small collection of linen bedding has grown to include new fabrics and unmistakably ‘Piglet’ designs, complemented by our curated selection of sleepwear and homewares. But one thing hasn’t changed: our focus on the incredible team who make Piglet happen. As our team grows, we still like to keep the calendar full of socials, competitions, and chances to see each other. The Role
As Piglet in Bed's Designer, you'll will play a key role in creating beautiful, commercially successful products that reflect Piglet in Bed’s brand identity. You will work across multiple categories (Bedding, Bath, Apparel and Lifestyle), contributing to seasonal collections and ensuring a consistent, elevated aesthetic across all product touchpoints.

Hours: 35.5 per week, Monday to Friday
Annual salary: £45,000
Location: Hybrid working - 3 days per week in our London (Vauxhall) office with occasional travel to our stores
What you'll be getting up to
Product Design & Development
You'll design products across bedding, bath, apparel and lifestyle categories.
You'll support the development and selection of seasonal concepts, colour palettes and prints aligned to brand direction.
You'll create detailed design specifications for production.
Trend & Customer Insight
You'll research trends, materials and competitor landscape.
You'll translate insights into relevant, commercial design ideas.
You'll maintain awareness of customer preferences and feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
You'll work closely with Buying and Technical teams to ensure designs meet cost and quality targets.
You'll collaborate with Marketing to support product storytelling and launches.
You'll partner with Merchandising to ensure designs are supporting commercial range planning and frameworks.
Brand Consistency
You'll maintain a consistent visual identity across all products.
You'll ensure designs are aligned with Piglet’s ‘Made for Living’ ethos.
You'll contribute to the evolution of the brand aesthetic.
About You
You'll have experience in product design with homeware, apparel or lifestyle brands.
You'll have a strong understanding of colour, fabric and material development.
You'll have commercial awareness alongside creative ability.
You'll have a proficiency in design tools (Adobe Suite etc).
You'll have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple products.
Essential
You'll be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Your designs are driving strong sell-through and customer engagement.
Your work has a clear alignment with brand identity.
There is an efficient handover into production with minimal revisions.
You contribute to successful seasonal launches.
